Structural and civil engineering for buildings that are already standing

We assess, design and supervise works in existing structures: load-bearing surveys, strengthening schemes, change-of-use conversions and remedial packages. Twelve engineers, workloads handled end to end, no subcontracted design.

What we are usually called for

  • Structural condition surveys and load-capacity reports
  • Removal of internal walls, new openings, steel framing
  • Strengthening for plant, storage or mezzanine loading
  • Change of use: offices to residential, retail to medical
  • Dilapidations, party-wall and insurance reports
  • Site supervision and contractor design-checking
